Hya,
Good sunday to you. What a busy week i have had. Work has kept me out of mischief yet again as we are so busy. Also you will pleased to hear my phone did arrive eventually and i love, love it. Maybe that has taken some of my time up too!!!! Ooops. Unfortunatley it has also meant not much crafting has taken place this week.

Iam a very lucky girl though, because when i came home from work one day there was a parcel waiting for me. It was from my stampin' up mum Julie (who really does look after me). Inside was a lovely card and box with a beautiful, sparkly broach inside. I have posted a photo for you to see but it really doesn't do it justice.

Now anyone that knows me will know that i love my bling. If I can add sparkle to any card then i will do. All Julies team are called Julies Jems and we all recieved one of these broaches for us to wear when we are together so that everyone knows who we are. what a fabulous idea. Thanks Julie.

I do have a card to show you but that will have to be tomorrow as i need to give the card to my ladies before i can show you.

Have a good rest of the weekend.

Hya,
Are you having a relaxing weekend. I have today, recovering from yesturday's class and excitement. One thing i forgot to mention with every thing going on, the box we did yesturday was courtesy of the very talented Jenny Moors.

Today i said i would show you a couple of cards to go in the box, so here goes.

This card is using flight of the butterfly stampset, the colours are chocolate chip, kraft and more mustard.

This card is a crisscross card. This is made with night of navy and kraft cardstock. with bella bleu papers and finished with kraft ribbon.

The inside compartment is made whith whisper white on kraft cardstock using flight of the butterfly and pocket silhouettes stampset. My ladies loved these cards. Anyway time to go and get things ready for work tomorrow.

Thanks for looking,

Flight of the butterfly stamp class.

Saturday 23rd January
Hya,

Hope your having a good saturday. I am. I held my very first card class today. It was at my home and i wanted to say 'Thankyou' to my ladies for making it a good day.

This is organised chaos, honest. my lovely ladies are Lynne, Carol, Terry, Irene and Sandy.
A good time was had by all (so i was told!) and I was asked when the next one will be.

We made a box and 4 cards to go in it. The box is made of night of navy cardstock, ballet blue for layering and bella bleu papers for decoration. I also used flight of the butterfly stampset for the finished flourish. I will show you a card tomorrow 'cos Iam shattered and ready for my bed.

Hope you likey.

Happy Momments

Friday 22nd Jan

Hya,

Hope you have had a good week. I'm abit fed up. I had ordered the new Iphone and because of my phone provider they had to send it out to me. I ordered it monday and was told it would be here today between 9 and 1 and guess what?? It hasn't arrived. Iam still waiting for someone to ring me back. Anyway, enough of me boring you, I thought i would show you a couple of projects that we were given in Peterborough on saturday.

The first one is a little bag that is big enough to put the stampin' up love notes. It is made with Sage Shadow cardstock, Elegant Eggplant and Pale Plum. I haven't put a greeting on as i think it's quite cute as it is, but you could use any greeting on the front.

The second project is a card made with a sale-a-bration stamp set, Happy Momments, that you can get free when you spend over £45 in the stampin' up catalogue before the end of february.( If you would like further information please contact me).The cardstock is Old Olive, regal rose and the gorgeous Whisper White ribbon.I hope you like these. Iam off to organise my class that is booked for tomorrow. So much to do, so little time. I will post you some pics later.

Sunday 17th January.

Hya,

Hope you all have had a good sunday. I have. I have been recovering from our stampin' up training day that was held by my stampin' up grandma, Monica and Becka. This was held in Peterborough yesturday and was a full day training. My stampin' up mum took me, julie- and she really does look after me. We had to take cards to swap with other demonstrators and i got lots of lovely cards and gift ideas back.

These were my offerings. I made both the blue and pink and i couldn't pick my favourite so i took both lots. They are made using basic black card stock, tempting turquiose and pink passion for the colouring. The black embossed card was the groom speciality card which is gorgeous to use. The stamp is whimsical words which is a stamp set that you can get free when you spend £45 in the stampin' up catalogue. If you would like details then please contact me.

We did some makes and takes and had fun too. I will show photos soon.

Do you remember the card i made for Abigail? well i made a little pressie for her. It's a gift card with a lottery ticket for her. I thought i would show you.

I made this with again basic black cardstock, whisper white ink pad and used season of joy stamp set. I know this is a christmas stampset but this stamp is so versatile. I have found loads of different uses for it. I finished off with whisper white ribbon which is so soft to touch and really does finish off any project.

I hope you like my offerings today.

Saturday 16th January

Hya,

What a week it's been. The ice has been horrendous. Getting to and from work has been a nightmare. I will be glad to see it leave to be honest. Anyway, even though it's been a stressful week, i have been asked to make a card for my friends daughter, Abigail. It has't been made with stampin' up products but i thought i would show you anyway.

I made this using Abigails favourite colours. I just hope she likes it. I also made another one for her, but this one is from me. Again not using stampin' up products but i know she will like this one.

Anyway thats it for now, i just want to wish Abigail a HAPPY BIRTHDAY for monday.

I will be posting tomorrow as i have some more pictures to show you.
